Emily & Todd perform in Shanghai

It was nice to have our first visitors from the US, Emily Samuelson and her skating partner Todd.  They actually didn't come to see us but we were fortunate to not only see them perform their new ice dancing routine at the amazing Shanghai Skating complex but to spend a day showing them our current "home" town.  We had planed to show them a historic section of Shanghai called YuYuan gardens and then some local temples, but once they got a taste of shopping (bartering for souvenirs), they had so much fun that we decided to forgo the trip to the temples and just enjoy time together in the traditional China gardens.  Once they ran out of money, we went to the downtown area for dinner.  It was a nice clear evening and we all enjoyed dinner among the city lights of Shanghai.  We all had a great time and we hope that more of you will take advantage of our expert tour guiding ability and visit Asia.  See you soon!
